Thanks to all of you who stopped in last week to check out our new space.  Tastings are still going on, and the wine is still the best.

This Friday during "Sounds on Centre" (5:30-7:30pm) we will be tasting Dashwood New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc- retail $12 and Robert Oatley Australian Shiraz -only $14!  For those Tropical Wine drinkers, Mango Mama will be on deck.

Stop in Saturday to try and buy New Age Wine, great on the rocks with a squeeze of lime.  It's been a big hit at places like 29 South Eats, Le Clos and Cafe Karibo.  It is only $10/btl at Intercoastal Wine.  $9 if you buy 6 btls. or only $8.50 if you buy a case (plus tax of course). This is the perfect summer refresher and summer is just getting started, so stock up while supplies last.

Burgers, steaks, ribs and red.  Little James' Basket Press, a Saint Cosme non-vintage wine ($16.00) is a great pairing as is Bila-Haut Cotes du Rhone ( a favorite of Carlos) it is rich and complex and only $16.00.  Campos Reales Tempranillo ($11) also pairs well with grill food.  Grilling seafood?  How about A to Z Pinot Noir ($25) with ahi tuna, chardonnay (Byron WS 90 pts. $18) with grouper, sauvignon blanc (Dashwood) with lighter seafood. I like Pine Ridge Viognier Chenin Blanc blend with any seafood ($17).   Don't feel like grilling?  How about a bottle of Italian red with pizza?

We now have The Chocolate Block Blend from S. Africa ( Richard at the fabulous Happy Tomato Cafe, home of the best barbeque on the island, your wait is over). It is a fabulous blend of syrah, grenache, cab, and cinsault with a dash of viognier and always rated 90+ pts. by Robert Parker.  Now only $40.50.
